Statement from Mark Hume:
I tendered my resignation as Chairman to the Steering Committee, Graham and Sandy on Saturday 17th January to take place as soon as I had met with Joe Perfect, events secretary, and MSV, owners of Cadwell Park race circuit, on Monday 19th January to minute all requirements for Beezumph 32 in relation to MSV.
There are several reasons, health, family priorities but in the main it has been due to unwarranted issues which have arisen during last year, 3 matters which arose last week which were sent to the Steering Committee and finally the debacle of the posts on the Committee WhatsApp group on Saturday 17th January which have brought things to a head leaving me deeply frustrated and so cannot give you my full support and commitment and therefore unable to fulfil my role as Chairman.
For those on the Committee who have supported and believed in me, I give you my utmost and sincere thanks and wish you well in running the Club in the best interest of ALL Members without any personal malice.
