There are days in the life of a club that feel bigger than the agenda on the table, and our recent team meeting at the National Motorcycle Museum was one of them. Surrounded by the very machines that shaped British racing history, joined by several of our honorary members, and fuelled by equal parts enthusiasm and nostalgia, the TR3OC committee set out to select the headline race bikes for Beezumph 32.
It was a successful, spirited day — the kind that reminds us why we do what we do. And after much discussion (and more than a few admiring pauses), we are proud to announce the machines that will take centre stage at this year’s event.
The Beezumph 32 Featured Race Bikes
- 1970 Triumph Works 750cc – Winner of the Bol d’Or 24‑Hour Endurance Race
A true giant of stamina and engineering, this machine’s victory at the Bol d’Or remains one of Triumph’s most celebrated achievements. - 1971 750cc Triumph – Ex‑Gene Romero
Ridden by one of the greats of American racing, this bike carries the unmistakable aura of Romero’s competitive spirit and championship pedigree. - 1968/69 Triumph 500cc Daytona Racer – Ex‑Percy Tait
A machine synonymous with precision and grit, famously piloted by Percy Tait during Triumph’s golden era of middleweight racing. - 1970 BSA Rocket 3 – 750cc
A muscular, charismatic triple that helped define BSA’s racing identity at the dawn of the 1970s. - 1971 Formula 750 Works BSA
A rare and formidable works racer from the fiercely competitive Formula 750 era — a real treat for enthusiasts. - Mike Hailwood BSA Rocket 3
Each of these machines tells a story — of innovation, rivalry, triumph, and the riders who pushed them to their limits. Bringing them together at Beezumph 32 is not just a display; it’s a celebration of the heritage our club is dedicated to preserving.
This year’s event is shaping up to be one of the most historically rich gatherings we’ve ever hosted. Whether you’re a long‑time member or a first‑time attendee, you’ll be standing just inches from the machines that shaped an era.
We look forward to sharing this extraordinary line‑up with you at Cadwell Park. Beezumph 32 is more than a rally — it’s our living tribute to the legends of BSA and Triumph.
