Here is a short report on the November 24th 2018 AGM, the minutes will be published in Triple Echo in due course. As you will see we are entering a new era for the club with some changes in the committee. I would like to thank to ones that are standing down who have served the club so well over the previous years. David Lord during his time as Treasurer has turned the finances of the club round and leaves us on a very sound footing. Dave Smith for many years has been the Editor of our Triple Echo and really I cant find enough words to describe the sterling job he has done on every issue. Martin Rawson has also passed on his role as Events Sec. In his time in this post he has delivered the members some really great Beezumph Rallies and they are still proving as popular as ever as a result of his efforts.
I would like to welcome onto the committee Les Davies and Fin Colson as our new Editor and Events Sec.respectively. Thanks to both for filling these vital roles. The Webmaster role has been temporarily taken on by Richard Davies but as a non committee member, thanks Richard, contact him on website@tr3oc.com for anything to be included on the website.
Three Trophies were awarded on the day to David Lord, Founders Cup for his services as Treasurer, Ian Bradshaw Slippery Sam Trophy for his work in the I. O. M helping to deliver the TR3OC stand at the Classic Manx. The Transatlantic Trophy was awarded to Pete Bates for his services to the club over many years.
Thanks to everyone who attended the AGM weekend and again to the guys who have taken up committee posts, we still need a Treasurer though so please come forward if you think you can help
