We recently received a wonderful email, and we wanted to share this part of it with you all:
*“Now at 75+ years old, David continues to defy the aging process and is still an active racer in vintage dirt track and other events.
I know I speak for David (Aldana) as well when I say I am very much looking forward to meeting all of you who I have not previously had the pleasure, and to renewing previous friendships with your members, and with John, and also all of the surviving management and crews who were part of the original BSA and Triumph race teams of 1971.
By the way, for any writing about John’s victory at the AMA National Road Race at Ontario, California in 1971, his victory on the works Rocket III was the last-ever National Championship Road Race by a BSA rider.
And lastly, attached are a couple of photos I came across with good memories of the Match Races then and now.”*
