West Sussex Area Meet?

Having moved to Steyning, West Sussex in December 2021 I began to think it would be a good idea to start an Area Meet for local members.  Some research with help from Dougie Beardsall established that there are at least 20 members  close by and so I concluded this ought to work.  But despite my initial enthusiasm, my attention was soon diverted by Covid and a major renovation of my home.  I’m ashamed to admit that I have barely given it a thought since, until I saw my name in TE256 listed as Area Rep for Brighton!  The renovation project is rapidly coming to an end and as the summer approaches it’s time to get this moving again.

So, if anyone is interested in getting together one evening a month and joining in on a few ride outs etc, then please do contact me on pdljel@gmail.com.  Our Archivist, Charlie Middleton lives near Haywards Heath and has suggested The White Hart in Henfield as a possible venue, but we are open to suggestions.
