Clungunford Show is this Sunday, Aug 14th, from 10am.
Yes i know some of you may be away on holiday, but this looks like being a pleasant event and the weather forecast for Sunday 14th August is sunny & dry, so see you there for breakfast? Starts 10am. Plenty of food drinks & cakes will be available.
For those not familiar with the area, Clungunford is a small village to the west of Craven Arms in Shropshire – postcode SY7 0PP. From Craven Arms take the B4368 under the rail bridge towards Clun, after a couple of miles take left turn on B4367 and that leads you to Clungunford. There is a regular bike meeting there on 1st Monday of each month (organised by the Wistanstow Show people) so it will be old-bike friendly. Look out for other Tridents&Rocket3’s, so we can all park up together? I should be on my black tanked T160 with p-shooters and a big front disc.

Dear Nigel,
Ordinarily, this would have been an obvious event for me – lovely neck of the woods, familiar territory, and a reasonably short distance from Cardiff so I wouldn’t need to depart just as the sun peeps over the horizon. But…
The Popham Mega Meet beckons. (See TE Issue 258, p48). I’ll be heading east to meet up with Finbar (Colson) and c. 800+ oldie bikes and oldie bikers.
