          Got a call from DaveW fancy a ride out b4 the weather turns, err let me think about that!

          So dragged the T160 out of the back of the garage for the ride. The two T150’s having been getting plenty of use of late. Topped up the oil and fuel and set off to Dave’s 40 miles away nice trip up the A19 to get her warmed up.

          We discussed a route and left Houghton -le-Spring and headed for Barnard Castle , Hawes and ended up stopping at the Bikers Barn for a burger. Quick photo op at Leyburn then Northallerton and back to my place. 140 miles  of mixed roads serenaded by the lovely sound of those cigar silencers.

          The best rides are those last minute ones, arranged at the last minute

            Hi Martin,

            Spontaneity can bring something extra to many of life’s pleasures ;0)
            Nice wheels on the T160, tidy upgrades to both bikes, have you fitted a t140 swinging arm to facilitate your rear brake setup?
            Interesting fuel tank arrangement.

              The T160 is mine, std swing arm but wanted an over the top brake so Pete Curran came up with a disc and caliper, made the spacers and torque arm. He also made the carrier for the floating front disc too.

              Early Breadbin Tank on angled brackets, a bit different.
