Popham Mega Meet (14th August 2022)

OK, this wasn’t an official TR3OC event, but we did have a club stand (see photo) thanks to Finbar Colson, our pivotal representative on the spot, and supporting friends.

A superb day that was well worth my jaunt from Cardiff on the M4 and, as it was my first time attending this venue, even worth getting lost three times on the way there. Plus the food vendors were a cut above the usual ubiquitous hot dogs and beefburgers.

Thanks, Fin, for announcing this shindig in the June/July TE. I intend to get to next year’s!

(BTW, some website followers will recall my obsession with my T160’s fuel economy. Managed 64mpg this time on the outward journey, doing 65-70…)
