We have a volunteer to organise/lead the ‘Les Williams Memorial Ride Out’ on the Friday of Beezumph29. We could do with chatting to someone local who knows the roads and sections to avoid. Please email me if you can help by going over the route etc.  events@tr3oc

            Hi

Is B29 one day on track? I tried to get tickets but the system doesn’t seem to be working yet.

            Thanks

            Dave Rodgers

Hi Dave, Beezumph 29 is 2 days on track, unfortunately our ‘On Line’ ticket purchasing is having updating at present and it is taking longer than expected but you can download an application form and send it through the post. This will insure you get what places you want on the track.

Hi Dave,  under the banner ‘Events’ at top of page, click on Beezumph from the drop down list, then click on ‘Buy Tickets here’. There are two links to the forms that you can print off.

Note we are very close to having the online booking/payment system up and running.

                    Hi Martin

I tried that but nothing happened?

Hi all. I did manage to download the form a week or so ago but when I tried just now I couldn’t make it work again. I’ll wait for the online ordering as that worked fine three years ago.

Is there a schedule for the event available yet? Can we camp from Thursday night, and what will be the timing of the ride out and the track days? I’m thinking that doing the ride out and the track day on Friday wouldn’t be feasible and in any case two track days might be tempting fate too much so I should just go for Saturday.

Also I checked the Cadwell website and couldn’t see anything scheduled for the Sunday after, so does that mean we won’t be kicked out early like last time?

Looking forward to it such a lot and after the long wait I think it will rush up on us very quickly,

                      Ian Jenks.

Ian the schedule is being worked on atm. Camping from Thursday and for as long as you want to stay. A Rally ticket covers this along with  a meal Saturday. On the Sunday is a No Limits track day, more motorbikes!

We have the use of  all the usual paddocks and fields from 5.30pm Thursday when the car event is clear from the lower paddock, and we will not be restricted to a small area like last time. There will be more information and a full schedule posted in the near future.

I finally booked my tickets on Sunday and they arrived just now, really good service. Only ten days to go!

I went on the MSV website to enter my details and also browsed their calendar, and clicking on our event days saw a note that says:

“NEW for 2022 – all riders must be wearing a full length back protector in addition to having a front brake lever guard or hand guards fitted.”

I think my back protector is OK but I don’t have a lever guard and don’t really want to cut my twist grip rubber. Is this definitely required on classic bikes and if so does anyone know of a good solution for our Triples?

                          Ian Jenks.

Hi Ian, we have an exemption from MSV for the lever guard as it is recognised that the majority of bikes will be classic and they recognise the problems with retro fitting.

So to be clear you do not need them for either of our tracks days.

OK thanks Martin, that’s a relief. Is there a list of what else we need to do to prepare our bikes? Tape up lights, remove mirrors etc.? After three years I can’t remember everything, although I do remember doing a rough and ready number with tape. It would be nice to be on top of it this time instead of rushing around on the day!

                              Cheers, Ian Jenks.

There should have been refrence made to the following in the application form. This can be found in the programme which you need to collect from the Rally Tent.

‘Machines shall be in a clean safe condition.
Ensure machine is externally oil and fuel free and any breather terminate in a collection bottle.
Ensure the fuel cap is securely fixed.
Centre stands to be secured in all categories.(plastic electrical rachet zip ties)
In Classic, Fast Classic, Open and Expert Classic categories side stands must be secured.(plastic electrical rachet zip ties)
If possible wire oil drain and filter plugs.
Remove or tape glass, indicators and rear light lens.
Control levers must be ball ended and mirrors removed.
Riders numbers should be clearly visible.’
