I have had an email from a Rodger Bellamy from wordpress. It purports to answer a question I had posted. I have not posted a question recently and definitely on the subject he mentions. There are two links for me to contact. Needless to say I have not replied. It could be genuine but then again! Has anyone else had similar?

There is a private messaging feature on the forum so that members can talk to each other as well as posting publicly on the forum.  You will see there is a “Send a Message” link underneath forum contributors’ names.  You will get an email to alert you that there is a message.  I think you can unsubscribe from getting the email alerts if you go into the settings after you follow the link.

Hi Ian,sorry for causing you concerns, but I am a genuine person and I may have somehow directed my answer to someone elses question to you. I apologise for this, but I was genuinely trying to help a fellow member, although I do not recall the occasion. I am not exactly 100% when it comes to using computers,so I would perhaps be better keeping my opinions to myself. Rodge
