Hi all, is there a problem with the Triples Online website? I haven’t managed to get to it for over a week on any device.

Yes for some reason it is down, and a valuable resource for a lot of people. However it is an independant website and nothing to do with this club.

Thanks Martin, I’m aware that the website is independent but there was no other way of confirming whether it is available – you have confirmed it – thank you.

Well…. we can always chat about stuff here, as well as Facebook….so, here, as an experiment I’ve hopefully uploaded a pic of my brother in law Ian Watkins racing at Lydden in the early 80’s on his brothers T150V. Used the thrash the nuts off it & give the big jap multis & 2 strokes a real run for their money…. So, come on give it a go!

No winkers, dissimilar rims, dented silencer, heeled over as far as could go…   A pleasant change from pristine on trailer to show.   I made a special effort to view a Rocket3 new in shop in 1969, rode a Trident mid 70s, bought one 91.   One of very few British bikes which is able to please a riding owner as opposed deluded fanatic for dud religion.

It would be good for our club if this forum had a solid core of worthwhile facts, as experienced by understanding riders.

Don/James I couldn’t agree more. The answers generted on this forum are generally fact based. But in all things ,it is sometimes good to have alternative views.

Nice one Don, thanks. I did mention at the AGM that it would be nice to see this members forum utilised more as it is just that, for members only. Bike looks great by the way, where is it now?

If you haven’t noticed, if you click the photo you get a bigger view!

I remember Ian Watkins thrashing that T150 round Cadwell in time trials, how many laps in a certain time.

Dont really know why we are debating tol on here but  its a shame we have never been able to convert more face book members to full members !
