Hi, I am wondering has anyone opinions on the best grade oil for the shuttle valve forks on my 1969 T150? Currently using 20w castrol fork oil.  Control is good but was wondering if I can make it more supple but not loose the control on bumpy roads. Cheers Peter.

Have you thought about using progressive fork springs ? I have them in my !968 T150t. although i’ve only done 22 miles so far as i’m still trying to get in running right, as for oil i’m using Silkolene sf20 fork oil

Thanks Timothy, I will consider the springs, the originals have probably sagged to a degree over 50 years. Peter.
