could you tell me how many positions the ignition switch has on a trident T 150 V 1975 ?

I bought to LP williams the ignition switch type S 45 (ref on the parts list 31899 or 99-0558 but it’s only two positions OFF and Ignition.

is the good one a 4 positions , Park ,OFF, ignition, ignitions + lights.

    thanks ,

Just two on mine, off and ignition on, had it since 1977 so suspect it’s correct.

Both my UK & Export T150V bikes have 2 position switches.

Only 1971 to 1972 model Tridents, Rocket 3s and 1975 onwards T160s had the 4 position ignition switches. On the 71/72 models it was mounted in the Right hand side panel. If it’s a T150 or a Rocket 3 and the switch is mounted on the Left hand headlamp bracket it should be a 2 position ignition switch. Lighting controls on these bikes are controlled by a separate toggle switch in the deep headlamp shell on a 1973 to 1975 T150 V or on the Right hand Headlamp bracket on 1968 to 1970 T150 and Rocket 3s
