SPECIAL ANNOUCEMENT
Beezumph 27
The Annual Rally of the Trident & Rocket 3 Owners Club
JULY 13th & 14th 2018
This year’s Annual TR3OC Beezumph Rally will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the iconic triple launch in 1968.
It is anticipated that the format will be similar to 2017 as TR3OC returns to the Anglesey Circuit in North Wales for our two-day rally. With track sessions, auto-jumble and camping
Following the track action, the visitors bike line up will gather in the paddock area. There will be a superb display of all the Triple genres with trophies given for the best in each class. A fantastic photo opportunity.
The evening is party time! The BBQ will again be covered by the Rally ticket along with entry to the event, camping, rally badge, program, and entry to the marquee for the bands. This will be great value for triple enthusiasts from the UK and around the globe.
Details in full including ticket prices and full activity programme will be available in the clubs magazine "Triple Echo", the TR3OC Web site and Facebook. Given the importance of this very special celebration TR3OC will be looking for sponsorship partners to join us at this unique event.

I was wondering if anybody knows if the extended electrode spark plugs (BP8ES) will fit into the triple engine without hitting the piston? If anyone has tried them do they make a difference? ... See MoreSee Less

Just wondering...
How old is the youngest member of the TR3OC?
I bet we're quite an aging bunch of gimmers.
Given that triples & other older British bikes are stupidly expensive is the only way into triple ownership for younger bikers iby inheritance when we shuffle off?

Rebuilt my T160 engine in the spring with racing big end and main bearing shells. Talking to a mate at the motor club. He says. These have too much clearance. 2.5 thou clearance. Normal bearings have 1 thou clearance.
Built it with a high output oil pump and using 10/40 oil. When I start it. The oil pressure guage is off the clock but settles at 60psi when hot at 4-5000 revs. It hits this pressure (60) at 2500 revs and tick over is about 30psi.
I was a bit worried about the low pressure but thought racing would be better. Going to put my T150 engine together and I have bought racing shells for that. Should I put the normal Harris shells in. Or even put my old shells back in. Oil pressure is really good. Has been for 35 years.
